1. Who We Are

GetPaidTrade ("we", "us", "our") provides an online tool that generates letter and contract templates using artificial intelligence, intended to help UK tradespeople with common business correspondence and documentation. By using getpaidtrade.co.uk (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Not Legal Advice

GetPaidTrade is not a law firm, and nothing generated through the Service constitutes legal advice. Content produced by our tools is intended as a general-purpose starting template based on the information you provide, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor.

You are responsible for reviewing any generated letter or contract before sending or using it, and for seeking independent legal advice where appropriate, particularly for high-value contracts, complex disputes, or situations involving significant legal or financial risk.

3. No Guarantee of Outcome

We do not guarantee that any letter or contract generated through the Service will result in payment, resolve a dispute, or be enforceable in any particular circumstance. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including the conduct of third parties and the specific facts of your situation.

4. Accuracy of Information

Generated content is based entirely on the information you provide. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or errors in generated content that result from incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information supplied by you.

5. Your Account & Subscription

• The free letter generator is available without payment, subject to fair use limits we may apply to prevent abuse.
• GetPaidTrade Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is fraudulent, harassing, threatening, or intended to deceive a third party
• Misrepresent facts in a way intended to unlawfully pressure or intimidate another party
• Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or security measures of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found to be in breach of these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Content you generate through the Service is yours to use for your own business purposes. The underlying Service, including its design, code, and branding, remains the property of GetPaidTrade.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetPaidTrade and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business, or costs arising from disputes with third parties.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
